The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that the Parliament should refine the draft law “On amendments to the tax Code of Ukraine re taxation under the production sharing agreement”

Submission of the bill (Reg. No. 2288a) is justified by a necessity to establish favorable conditions when attracting investors into mining operations under the production sharing agreements.

It is suggested alter the procedure of taxation of investors when implementing the production sharing agreement.

The people’s deputies drew attention to the fact that the bill lacks the mechanism that would guarantee certainty of tax payment and prevent tax evasion.
